It has dawned on me

It has finally dawned on me....

I Need A Lifestyle Change.
I
just can not live a life where we live to work. Out whole culture revolves around work and we get out of touch with love, kindness and generosity.

We are so busy trying to be competitive. Seeing who can make the most money. Step on as many toes to get it.

This is not how it should be.  It's time we got back to basics. Something more simplistic and organic.

Yeah, I know that I sound like a hippy.  ...But hippies make a lot of sense to me.

What I am getting at is that I am going to let my apartment lease go. I am going to sell and donate all of my belongings. I feel detached to them and really don't care anymore.  It's out obsession with belongings that has numbed us in these modern times!

I will be rid of them. I don't need them! Once they are gone, I am hopping a plane to Europe where I will begin my new life.

I am going to volunteer my services to have some food and a place to sleep. That's all anyone needs. While doing so I will work their land. Assist on growing food, planting crops etc. These are age old skills  that sadly many do not know.

Not only this but I will meet new people, hear stories, gain wisdom and feel love and as part of humanity again. Being in an industrialized American society has taking that away from me. The burden of that stressful lifestyle shall be lifted from my shoulders.

I will move from country to country doing just this. I will not make a cent of money in fact it would even be illegal.

I will start with 3 months in Ireland, Then move on to France, Then move on to Croatia, Then Turkey, Then Spain, Then Morocco and so on.  I am not even sure of the order just yet and that is a beautiful thing.

Good riddance, conventional lifestyle. It was not so nice knowing ya.
